My WARMTH story
Like you, I used to be the person everyone came to for support—the one who could create calm in any storm. Yet, I struggled to find my own shelter. Over 10 years ago, as a parent and business owner, I watched my ability to care for others slowly diminish as I neglected my own needs. I needed to build and increase my emotional carrying capacity to be the safe, balanced leader I needed to be, so I turned my attention inward.
Out of self-care, I started writing my first book, The Wisdom Behind Emotion and Feeling. It was a healing journey that enabled me to develop a more healthy relationship with myself and others. During the writing process, I intentionally connected with my seven basic needs. Which aspects of life are involved? How do they feel? I started using these needs as a source, adding drops of nourishment to my daily life. Gradually and naturally, my whole life, family, and business changed from the inside out. For the better, that is.
