Executive coaching by Wendy
Hi, my name is Wendy van Mieghem. As a psychologist and sociologist, I can help you lead sustainable and effective (complex) change processes. The human side of change is often a significant obstacle. Leading change processes therefore requires in-depth knowledge and skills in dealing with human nature.
Experiencing is the deepest form of learning. Thinking, feeling, and doing come into balance. During executive coaching sessions, you will work with your mind, heart, and body. You can expect a careful, gradual build-up and my support. By building a stronger personal foundation, you will enhance your professional trustworthiness and stability.
I always offer personalized solutions by considering your individual background, needs, and humanity, even in a group. You can choose from 3 options for personalized guidance:
Below, you can read, hear, and see more about the executive coaching options. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Warm greetings,
Wendy van Mieghem

What is executive coaching?
When you are ready to receive executive coaching from me, you will begin a customized support process focused on deepening and strengthening your leadership performance, decision-making, and management skills. For example, you might be a supervisor, manager, or entrepreneur in need of solid, tailored support to help improve your work results. You are also welcome if you are a teacher, caregiver, doctor, civil servant, IT professional, or creative professional, as long as you want to work on yourself at a leadership level.
After you get in touch with me, we’ll first map out what you need together. I will provide you with a substantive proposal for support. If you agree, we get started. You will learn, in a constructive way, to examine your patterns of thinking, feeling, and actions. Patterns that are constructive, you will retain. And patterns that negatively impact your and others’ well-being and quality of work, you will gradually learn to transform into constructive ones. We follow the natural flow of recovery and change processes so that you can sustainably and effectively increase your emotional carrying capacity and leadership impact.
Embarking on this sustainable change process invites you to better understand your humanity and learn to trust it. Such a process requires commitment from both of us in terms of time, energy, and attention. I offer customized guidance tailored to your specific needs, sensitivities, and strengths. Once you regularly invest that effort and commitment, you can also gradually expect significant improvements in your leadership skills, decision-making, and effectiveness. These improvements will (directly or indirectly) positively affect your well-being, the quality of your relationships with yourself and others, your fulfillment, and your work results.
You must do the inner work yourself. I am here to support you as needed.
1. Individual session(s)
Receive one hour of my full attention and expertise dedicated to your well-being. That is what I offer during an individual session. Whether via Zoom, in my classroom, or at your location* (*additional fee applies), we get straight to the core of what you need to progress. You will learn what is necessary to allow this direction and balance to develop and be maintained.
During the session, I provide experiential support that helps you balance your thoughts, feelings, and actions more sustainably. I assist you in setting short-term goals that also promote your long-term well-being. Because of this, individual sessions are often called strategy sessions.
Learning to truly hear and see yourself
During sessions and training days, I aim to connect deeply with your individual background, needs, and humanity. The benefit of this is that it fosters closeness, helping you truly feel heard and seen. It also clarifies where your own commitment and focus are needed to progress. Everything depends on the inner work that only you can do. I can’t do this for you!
Don’t expect any fuss or dawdling from me. I am patient when needed and direct when possible. My feedback is always personalized, honest, loving, and sincere. It is consistently constructive but may sometimes be blunt or straightforward. I don’t play with people’s feelings. It may take some time for you to fully trust that everything I do and say is in your best interest. That’s okay. Only when you trust me in this way can we truly work sustainably and effectively.
2. Online Community : learn through interaction with others
Increasing your emotional intelligence is on your mind. You’ve been working in your field for a while and want to add more depth. It hasn’t escaped your notice that not everyone treats themselves or others well. That’s why you aim to boost your emotional intelligence—to make a positive impact on yourself and others.
You want to give breathing space to your humanity, no matter how painful, emotional, or tense it is. Of course, it’s important to do this gradually, so it stays manageable and you don’t become overwhelmed.
Building your emotional capacity is what you want to put your time, attention, and energy into. You’re no longer satisfied with quick fixes or temporary relief, but instead, you crave lasting change. This approach allows you and others to truly move forward.
You feel a need to learn through interaction with others. Going through a sustainable change process is often rewarding, but it can also be tough. How nice is it to be able to share with other people what you are facing and how you are really doing?
Good to know
When you join one of my programs, you agree to make efforts. This means practicing for at least an hour, twice a week, or daily for half an hour to an hour at most, throughout the program. You accept to actively engage with the meditations, exercises, and lessons from the online training courses, listen to audio recordings of individual sessions and class days, read the books, answer reflection questions, complete the personalized homework assignments you’ve received, and take walks in nature. This level of commitment is necessary because only through consistent practice can you achieve lasting constructive results. You practice and learn to support your personal and professional growth.
3. Sustainable Change Program
The Sustainable Change Program is a comprehensive learning and action program for individuals who want to enhance their emotional intelligence and apply it. It is through understanding human psychology and gradually giving it more breathing space that lasting positive change becomes achievable. Participants experience greater peace, balance, satisfaction, and improved mental health and leadership skills. First, you learn to apply these skills and insights personally. Then, you can also develop them professionally, according to your needs and capacity, to deepen your current expertise.
The Sustainable Change Program is a personalized training course where you consistently receive individually tailored feedback, both during one-on-one sessions and on teaching days with your training group. You go through a process of sustainable change, supported from within, learning to care equally for your humanity, qualities, and sensitivities. Participants register annually for a potentially four-year basic program. Attendees come from across the Netherlands (Europe) and internationally.
What Will You Learn?
Through a mix of lived experience and psychology theories, scientific research, practical tools, and body-oriented exercises like mindfulness meditations, you will learn step-by-step techniques to guide yourself through change processes from a safe and constructive perspective. This way, you learn to support yourself in sustainable behavior change, growth, recovery, and human-centered leadership. You will develop more aligned thinking, feeling, and doing, making you more reliable in your interactions and communication. You will learn how to build and maintain healthy relationships, starting with yourself and extending to others. By learning to see and hear yourself and others deeply, you make a difference. With your time, attention, and practice, you learn to create win-win-win situations where everyone’s well-being grows.
