Zelfs wanneer dit averechts werkt en je vervolgens alleen nog maar meer vast komt te zitten. Worstelen met emoties en gevoelens kost veel energie. Het kan leiden tot piekeren, slaapproblemen, een verergering van angst of depressieve klachten of een algeheel gevoel niet lekker in je vel te zitten.<\/p>\n<p>Op de lange termijn kan het vastzitten in emoties zelfs leiden tot lichamelijke klachten en verlies van welzijn. Het is daarom belangrijk om op een opbouwende manier om te leren gaan met lastige emoties en gevoelens. Door te oefenen met emotie regulatie bouw je aan jouw vertrouwen dat je om kan gaan met wat het leven jou brengt. Dit geeft rust en balans. Je hebt er al allerlei patronen in ontwikkeld, bewust en onbewust. De uitdaging is om nieuwe wegen te leren bewandelen in het omgaan met emoties die meer effectief of minder destructief zijn. Ook is het van belang om de angel(s) eruit te halen zodat herstel plaats kan vinden. Van binnen naar buiten. Zo werk je toe naar een blijvende verandering. Duurzaam en effectief.<\/p>\n<p>Het goede nieuws is: dat is absoluut mogelijk! Het &#8216;slechte&#8217; nieuws is dat emotie regulatie gerichte aandacht en oefening vraagt. Dagelijks 30 minuten of 2 keer per week een uur, met behulp van een bewezen effectief stappenplan. Doe je dit niet, dan zal je merken dat je juist op de knelpunten niet of nauwelijks vooruitgang boekt. Zodat je niet verdwaalt, of terug kunt keren naar blijvende opbouwende verandering wanneer je wel bent verdwaald in het leven.<\/p>\n<p>Ik heb het stappenplan vorm gegeven vanuit mijn jarenlange expertise als psycholoog en trainer.
